The JDRF Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter is offering an internship opportunity for an enthusiastic college-aged student to help with the Kids Walk to Cure Diabetes program this spring!
The JDRF Kids Walk program is an educational, in-school fundraising program with two goals: 1) to educate students about type 1 and type 2 diabetes and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and 2) to provide them with an opportunity to make a difference by raising money for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Our Kids Walk intern will assist Development Coordinator, Erin Vella on executing the program during the busy spring season. Duties include visiting area schools to educate students, introduce the fundraising component and assist schools on their Kids Walk days. Other office work as assigned, as well.
